Megane E-Tech EV60 130hp

The Renault Megane E-Tech EV60 130hp is a 5-seat hatchback with front-wheel drive, sold new from 2022 to 2025, when it cost €47,000 in Germany, and now only available second-hand. It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 10.5 seconds, slower than 91% of the electric cars on sale in the UK. Its estimated real-world range is 242 miles (390 km) in a mix of town, country and motorway driving. That is longer than 42% of the 471 electric cars on sale in the UK, and 10th of 67 hatchbacks.

It uses around 4.0 mi/kWh (154 Wh/km), more efficient than the typical EV on sale (3.5 mi/kWh). The usable battery holds 60 kWh and on a rapid charger it averages 80 kW between 10% and 80%. With one 15-minute charging stop, it can cover an estimated 256 miles (412 km) at motorway speeds.

It has a heat pump, which helps preserve range in cold weather, and it does not support vehicle-to-load (V2L). The battery uses NCM chemistry, which stores more energy for its weight than LFP.

Second-hand in Germany, a 2022 example is estimated at €15,200–€17,800 and a 2025 one at €26,800–€30,600, based on typical EV depreciation.
